With the goal of providing the best solutions for any installation project, Fermator has developed a second version of its folding cabin door to complement the PRIME range, featuring compliance with EN81-1/2 standards or the Machinery Directive, for home lifts or low-speed elevators.
The PRIME door is recommended both for modernizations and for new residential installations, for elevators not exceeding 350,000 cycles per year with a maximum peak of 180 cycles/hour in elevators up to 1.0 m/s.
Its compact dimensions make this new system ideal for installations in reduced shafts. Additionally, the incorporation of the new retractable cam facilitates installation at any front or side landing lock height.
The PRIME PHL variant is designed for projects where cabin interlocking is not required. For this reason, it has been developed with a motorization and circuit adapted to this type of installation, where it is unnecessary to connect a battery to an additional circuit to open the doors in case of emergency.
Other notable features include:
-
Door movement control through circuits for PRIME: VF7+ CAN (digital management of communications between the controller and the cabin door via CAN protocol), VF7+ Relay (analog management of input and output signals). For the PHL variant, energy supply is 230V and 24/48V.
-
Optimized door leaf mounting method, independent of operator position.
-
Articulated arm system within the operator’s box. No fixed or movable elements project outside the operator’s limits.
-
Panels available in steel, with or without a viewing window, and finishes in glass or aluminum.
-
Compact multifunction retractable cam.
Fermator has leveraged its two decades of experience with PM10 permanent magnet motorization and the new VF control systems, which provide the PRIME door with smooth and precise movements thanks to vector control. This line will replace the ECC and ECC+ folding models and is now available.
