Fermator has reached a new milestone in its global expansion with the inauguration of Innovatec India Pvt. Ltd. in Ahmedabad. On February 11 and 12, the company hosted a memorable event that not only marked the official opening of the new production facility but also strengthened ties with over 700 clients from across India.
On February 11, the inaugural gala, held at the Taj Skyline Hotel, brought together key industry players in India, providing an excellent opportunity to reinforce important business relationships. The event continued the following day with a tour of the new 13,000-square-meter plant, equipped with cutting-edge technology, including an automated production line, smart warehouses, and welding robots to optimize precision and productivity. Guests then enjoyed a meal that symbolically celebrated the start of the plant’s operations through a local cultural tradition.
This new manufacturing center responds to the accelerated growth of the Indian market, which exceeds 140,000 installed elevators, and reinforces Fermator’s expansion strategy in the region. Like its second Innovatec facility, this plant will focus on the production of Commodity (Compact) and Custom Modular (40/10 and Premium) products, tailored to the specific demands of a rapidly evolving market. Additionally, on this occasion, the project for a third factory in India was announced, which will address both market growth and the company’s expansion, demonstrating Fermator’s commitment to innovation and strengthening its presence in the country.
