On February 22, Fermator took part in the industry meeting on the upcoming Complementary Technical Instruction (ITC), organized by FEEDA (Spanish Federation of Elevators), AECAE (Association of Elevator Component Companies), and ANCEME (National Association of Elevator and Freight Elevator Manufacturers). The event brought together 103 key representatives from the sector to discuss critical topics, including the future implementation of the ITC for elevators. The discussions focused on:

• Implementation of measures to improve safety in existing elevators, as outlined in Annex VI.

• Compliance with the Maintenance Standard UNE 58720:2020, as stipulated in Article 7.n.

• Nationwide standardization of mandatory periodic inspection protocols, which must include at least the checks detailed in Annex A of the UNE 192008 standard series, as required by Article 11.7.

Fermator participated as a sponsor and collaborator in this edition. During the event, Fermator’s modernization solutions, such as the PRIME and MOD MC systems, were prominently featured and received particular interest from attendees.
