Global Implementation of ODA

Over the past few months, Fermator has been leading a transformative initiative to simplify access to technical documentation for our customers and align with global trends in digitalization and sustainability. We are currently rolling out the Online Documents Accessibility project (ODA), starting with Tecnolama S.A. and gradually expanding to all other factories within the group.

This project, implemented in two phases, marks a significant step in our commitment to innovation and environmental responsibility. In the first phase, which is already underway in 90% of our factories, we have focused on providing digital access to the installation manual. The second phase, set to launch in the second half of the year, will allow customers to access a wider range of key documents and information, such as the maintenance manual, user guide, and moving mass data.

We are proud of the milestones already achieved through the implementation of this project. By the end of 2023, we successfully avoided printing 7,200 installation manuals, which translates to saving approximately 430,000 DIN-A5 sheets and preserving around 100 trees.

Our goal for 2024 is to continue reducing our environmental impact and cut paper usage by 5 million DIN-A4 sheets, which is equivalent to saving 600 trees.
