On 19th November, Fermator celebrated the opening of its factory in India. The new plant has the most modern production equipment and management to satisfy the unceasing demand for the Indian market.

Tecno Doors Pvt. Ltd. is the eighth factory of the group and the second in Asia, consolidating its global expansion strategy. This factory has a production capacity of 150.000 doors per year in an area of 15.000m². On the other hand, it is located in the city of Chennai which has become the area with the largest number of lift manufacturers in the country.

The opening party was attended by 450 guests from all over India who wanted to share the celebration. The day began with a welcome reception which was followed by a tour of the factory premises to show all the new productive systems implemented in Tecno Doors. The visit was followed by the presentation of the new corporate video and words of encouragement from the commercial and general manager of the factory and of the group. Finally, the guests enjoyed the delicious traditional Indian lunch before leaving to their hometowns.

The project of Tecno Doors Pvt. Ltd. represents for Fermator the beginning of a new era in Asia hoping to have continuity with more investment to meet the growing demand in the area.
